Steel constructions and General Mechanics

Inside more than 5.000 m2 of industrial space entirely equipped with powerful machines and materials, the 170 workmen of the workshop can transform up to 3.000 tons of steel per year of:

• Heavy boiler making (shipbuilding, cisterns and tanks, vantellery and apparatuses, industrial piping)
• Metal frame (buildings and hangars, covers, pylons, metal bridges and hoisting gantry cranes)
• General mechanics (assembly of engines and equipment of production facilities)

The section has many departments: research, process planning, planning, quality management, supplying and logistics. A team of engineers controls the work on site.

• Shipbuildings: tractor drawn barges or car motorized, tug boats, motorboats (Stephan Coaster 150 T, High-speed motorboat 11m SOPEMO, Barges of 80T MTMT…)
• Manufacture of tanks for storing hydrocarbons: vats of more than 4.500 m ³ ( Logistique Pétrolière, deposit of Majunga), cisterns from 1.000 to 40.000 liters (SOLIMA, Logistique Pétrolière…), cisterns on truck of 30m³ (TOTAL, Galana, Jovenna, MAEP…)
• Hydroelectric rehabilitation and installation of pressure pipes (hydroelectric power station of Antekaleka), of industrial piping of vantellery of irrigation (Valve AVIO, AMIL) and of modules masks (MAEP)
• Manufacture and assembly of metal frames, (TIKO, gymnasium of Fianarantsoa, COTONA Factories…)
• Roofing and sealing of many free factories buildings
• Manufacture and assembly of hoods on gasoline station (TOTAL, Galana, Shell…)
• Assembly of production facilities (tanks, piping, frame) (TIKO Factory Toamasina, SIRAMA distilling Factory Ambilobe, KOBAMA, KRAOMA Mine…)
• Manufacture of metal bridges (Eiffel Bridges, Pains d’Avoines for the Public Ministry of Labour), bridges rockers, travelling, suspended and of elevating lifting devices for 3 to 40 tons handling (MTP Mananjary…)
• Manufacture of pylons for telecommunications from 10 to 100 m (Gendarmerie Nationale, TELMA…)
